In some situations you may need to create a robots.txt file for a website which is not stored in your PC. Advanced Robots.txt Generator allows you to do this in order to be able to know at a glance, by looking at the Robot Controls tree, what are the instructions that you set for the robots even in this situation.
In order to do this, check the Manual Entry box in Properties Screen:
and for each robot control enter the path relative to the root folder of the website in the Manual Entry region of the user Interface.
You will need to press Return after you enter each file or directory.
An alternative to this method when your website is not stored locally is to use the FTP listing option.
