In some situations, if for example the root of your website does not coincide with the root of your domain name you may need to add a prefix in all the directories of the robots.txt file.
In Advanced Robots.txt Generator you can enter this prefix in the Properties Window:
Do not confuse this prefix with the path to the site root which is used for uploading the robots.txt file to the web server.
